In recent time, some of foreign investors have invested in Phu Quoc about 2 - 3 billion dollars or more. This unique island is well-known not only in Vietnam but also the world for some of its specialities: beach, fish soup, pepper, curly dog and pearl.
From Ho Chi Minh we can come Phu Quoc by two ways: air or sea. It costs 1.060.000 VND by Vietnam Airlines or few hunred thousands if you choose to go by hydrofoil (tàu cánh ngầm) from Rach Gia - Kien Giang.A flexible to travel there is motobike - xe o^m. It's cost about 100 - 150k VND per day (around 10 USD). If u already know a xe om driver there you can book for him in advance and he will take care you from the air port when u arrive - to - leave.
